HIST 4953 Historical Research and Writing
(Capstone) The senior capstone experience is required of all Social Studies majors. This research seminar, normally taken in the last year of enrollment, has been approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education as a part of Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s assessment plan. In the capstone, emphasis is placed on the principles of historical research, the organization of materials, and the discussion of various writing styles.
