The Master of Arts in Organizational Management and Leadership was established to provide students from various disciplines an opportunity to develop or enhance their management and leadership knowledge and skills. The degree is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Program Admission Requirements

In addition to the general admission requirements of the School of Graduate Studies, students must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a 3.00 undergraduate retention GPA, or
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a 3.00 GPA in the last 60 hours of coursework, or
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a 3.0 GPA in 9 hours of graduate coursework from a regionally accredited university.

Students who do not meet these criteria and have a 2.50 undergraduate retention GPA (or 2.75 GPA in last 60 hours) may be reviewed for admission. Students denied admission may appeal by submitting a portfolio consisting of a letter of application, a current resume, and three professional letters of recommendation.

Six hours per condensed term is considered a full load. Students working full-time are recommended to take no more than six hours per condensed term.
