PHYS 1004 Concepts in Physics
This course introduces fundamental concepts of physics with emphasis on applications to the world around us for students who do not intend to major in either engineering or the physical sciences. It is an introduction to the phenomena concepts, and theories of classical and modern physics, including knematics, forces, momentum, energy, fluid dynamic, temperature and heat, electricity, and magnetism. This course emphasizes both conceptual understanding and quantitative problem solving.
