Pre-Osteopathic Medicine

SE Catalog > Pre-professional Studies > Pre-Osteopathic Medicine

Students interested in osteopathic medicine pursue admission to a school of osteopathic medicine (DO) after their undergraduate education. Most schools have a prerequisite of three years or 90 semester hours of college coursework; however, the majority of students who are admitted will have received their bachelor’s degree upon entry.

Please refer to the Pre-Medicine page for recommended coursework and additional information on application procedures, including the MCAT requirement and the AACOM application service for osteopathic medicine programs.
