The mission of the Master of Science in Community Health is to identify, explore, and address public health issues at the community level, preparing students to be lifelong learners who can address the complex and ever-evolving health issues in our communities.

Program Admission Requirements

All applicants must be admitted to the School of Graduate Studies. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 2.50 overall GPA or minimum 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours, plus a current CV/Resume.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field and at least six hours in a graduate program from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, plus a current CV/Resume.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum 2.50 overall GPA, plus CV/Resume, a Letter of Intent, and two letters of recommendation.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in any field and at least six graduate hours with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, plus CV/Resume, a Letter of Intent, and two letters of recommendation.

No GRE is required.
