The Master of Science in Sports Administration provides a strong foundation in research methodology, sports administration, management, and finances. Graduates move into positions in athletic administration, facilities management, sports event planning, and coaching.

Admission Requirements

Full admission requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least a 2.75 overall undergraduate GPA, or a 3.00 GPA in the last 60 hours, or a 3.00 GPA in 6 hours of graduate coursework at a regionally accredited university. Students who do not meet these criteria and have at least a 2.00 undergraduate GPA (or 2.00 GPA in last 60 hours) may submit a resume for faculty review.

Graduation Requirements

  • Complete an approved program of courses in the M.S. in Sports Administration.
  • Possess a grade point average of at least 3.0 in all graduate work on the plan of study.
  • Apply for graduation at the beginning of the semester of expected graduation.
